42. Committee for Public Prosecutions



(1) There is established a Committee for Public Prosecutions.

(2) The Committee consists of-

   (a)  the Director, who is to be the chairperson;

   (b)  the Chief Crown Prosecutor;

   (c)  the Solicitor for Public Prosecutions;

   (d)  a person appointed by the Governor in Council.

(3) A person appointed under subsection (2)(d)-

   (a)  is appointed subject to any terms and conditions that are specified in
        the instrument of appointment;

   (b)  is appointed for the term specified in the instrument of appointment
        and is eligible for re-appointment;

   (c)  is entitled to the remuneration and allowances (if any) fixed in
        respect of him or her by the Governor in Council.
