PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS ACT 1986 - SECT 36B
Application for search warrant(1) An authorised officer may apply to a magistrate for the issue of a search warrant in relation to premises if the authorised officer believes on reasonable grounds that there is on the premises any thing, or kind of thing, connected with a contravention of Part 3 or regulations made under Part 3.
(2) An application under subsection (1) must be made with the written approval of the Department Head.
