Forfeiture of seized things

24ZN. Forfeiture of seized things



(1) If a person is found guilty by a court of an offence against this Act or
regulations under this Act, the court may, in addition to imposing any other
penalty, order that any thing seized under this Part that was used by the
person in connection with the offence be forfeited to the Crown.

(2) If a forfeited thing is sold, the costs associated with any maintenance,
care, removal, transport and sale of the thing must be deducted before any
amount remaining is paid into the Consolidated Fund.
