Access to seized things

24ZH. Access to seized things



(1) If a thing is seized under this Part, the inspector who seized the thing
must, if practicable, allow the person who would normally be entitled to
possession of the thing reasonable access to it while it remains in the
possession, or under the control, of the inspector.

(2) This section does not apply-

   (a)  if the inspector has given the person an accurate copy of the thing;
        or

   (b)  if the possession, use or setting of the thing is an offence against
        this Act or regulations under this Act.
