24P. Details of warrant to be given to occupier



(1) If the occupier is present at the premises or, if the premises is a
vehicle, vessel or aircraft, a person is in or in charge of the vehicle,
vessel or aircraft when a search warrant issued under this Part is being
executed, the inspector must-

   (a)  identify himself or herself to the occupier or person; and

   (b)  give to the occupier or person a copy of the warrant.

(2) If the occupier is not present at the premises when a search warrant
issued under this Part is being executed, the inspector must, if there is a
person present at the premises, identify himself or herself to the person and
give the person a copy of the warrant.
