24A. Additional powers that may be exercised on emergency entry

A POCTA inspector who enters premises under this Division may-

   (a)  inspect and take photographs (including video recordings), or make
        sketches of the premises or any animal or thing in or on the premises;

   (b)  take and keep samples of or from any animal or thing in or on the
        premises;

   (c)  open any container at the premises for the purpose of inspecting, or
        taking a sample of, its contents but must reseal the container after
        the inspection is made or the sample is taken.
