Governor in Council may declare corresponding law

12B. Governor in Council may declare corresponding law



(1) The Governor in Council may, by Order published in the Government Gazette,
declare a provision of a law of another State or a Territory to be a
corresponding law for the purposes of section 12A if that provision
substantially corresponds with section 12.

(2) An Order under subsection (1) has effect as from the date the Order is
published or from any later date specified in the Order.
