PORT MANAGEMENT ACT 1995 - SECT 88ZL
Appointment(1) The chief executive officer of the port of Melbourne operator, by instrument, may appoint as an authorised officer any officer, employee or agent of the port of Melbourne operator who the chief executive officer considers is suitably qualified or trained to exercise the powers of an authorised officer under this Part.
(2) An appointment under subsection (1) is for a term, and subject to the conditions, specified in the instrument of appointment.
(3) The chief executive officer of the port of Melbourne operator, by instrument, may delegate the chief executive's power under subsection (1) to an officer or employee of the port of Melbourne operator.
