Recovery of petroleum in adjacent area

39. Recovery of petroleum in adjacent area

A person shall not carry on operations for the recovery of petroleum in the
adjacent area except-

   (a)  under and in accordance with a licence; or





   (b)  as otherwise permitted by this Part.

Penalty: $33 000 or imprisonment for 5 years or both, in the case of a natural
person; $165 000, in the case of a body corporate.
