Rights of purchaser as to execution
75. Rights of purchaser as to execution
(1) On a sale, the purchaser shall not be entitled to require that the
conveyance to him be executed in his presence, or in that of his legal
practitioner, as such; but shall be entitled to have, at his own cost, the
execution of the conveyance attested by some person appointed by him, who may,
if he thinks fit, be his legal practitioner.
(2) Subsection (1) shall apply to sales made after the thirty-first day of
January One thousand nine hundred and five.
(3) The entitlement under subsection (1) to attestation of the execution of a
conveyance does not apply to an electronic instrument within the meaning of
the Transfer of Land Act 1958.
