Partial release of security from rentcharge

70. Partial release of security from rentcharge



(1) A release from a rentcharge of part of the land charged therewith shall
not extinguish the whole rentcharge, but shall operate only to bar the right
to recover any part of the rentcharge out of the land released, without
prejudice to the rights of any persons interested in the land remaining
unreleased, and not concurring in or confirming the release.

(2) This section shall apply to releases made after the first day of June One
thousand eight hundred and sixty-four.
