Acquisition by agreement

19. Acquisition by agreement



(1) For the purposes of a nominated project, the responsible Minister or the
facilitating agency may acquire by agreement an interest in land on any terms
(including consideration) that the responsible Minister or agency considers
appropriate.

(2) Any interest in land acquired by the responsible Minister under this
section vests in the Crown and is deemed to be unalienated land of the Crown.
