Prostitution Control Act 1994 - SECT 61A

Definitions

61A. Definitions

In this Division-

Consumer Act has the same meaning as it has in the Fair Trading Act 1999;



financial institution means-

   (a)  an authorised deposit-taking institution within the meaning of the
        Banking Act 1959 of the Commonwealth; or

   (b)  a body approved by the Governor in Council by Order published in the
        Government Gazette;

licensee, except in section 61C, includes-

   (a)  a person whose licence has been surrendered or cancelled within the
        last 3 years; and

   (b)  a person whose licence is suspended;

occupier in relation to any premises, means a person who appears to be of or
over 16 years of age and who appears to be in control of the premises;

vehicle includes motor vehicle, aircraft and vessel.
