55. Licence and approvals register



(1) The Registrar must enter in a register full particulars of-



   (a)  the granting, surrender, cancellation or suspension of a licence;





   (aa) any statements lodged under section 46A;





   (b)  the address of the premises at which a prostitution service providing
        business is being or is to be carried on;

   (c)  the granting, renewal, surrender, cancellation or suspension of an
        approval of a person as a manager of a prostitution service providing
        business.





(2) The register referred to in subsection (1) may be inspected, and a copy of
an entry in it obtained, at the office of the Authority during office hours-

   (a)  free of charge, by the Director, an authorised member of the police
        force or an authorised officer of the responsible authority;



   (b)  on payment of the prescribed fee, by any other person.

(3) The Registrar may correct an error or omission in the register by-

   (a)  inserting an entry; or

   (b)  amending an entry; or

   (c)  omitting an entry-

if he or she decides that the correction is necessary.

(4) The Registrar may make the correction on his or her own initiative or on
the application of any person.

(5) On making a correction the Registrar must record in the register the date
on which it was made.
