Operating brothel other than in a building

21A. Operating brothel other than in a building



(1) A person must not carry on business as a prostitution service provider of
a kind referred to in the definition of brothel in section 3 at premises-

   (a)  for which there is not in force a permit granted under the
        Planning and Environment Act 1987 for their use or development for the
        purposes of the operation of a brothel; and

   (b)  that are not a building or part of a building.

Penalty: 360 penalty units or imprisonment for 3 years or both.

(2) An offence against subsection (1) is an indictable offence.
