Reports of special inquiries

55. Reports of special inquiries



(1) The Authority must-

   (a)  within the period required by the Premier, prepare a report on the
        conduct and findings, and any recommendations, of the inquiry; and

   (b)  immediately after preparing the report, provide a copy to the Premier
        and the Minister responsible for any body that is the subject of the
        inquiry.

(2) The Minister responsible for a body that is the subject of the inquiry
must cause a copy of the report of a special inquiry, together with
information as to any action taken or proposed to be taken in relation to the
subject-matter of the report, to be laid before each House of Parliament
within 30 sitting days of that House after the day on which that Minister was
provided with a copy of the report.
