Duty to act independently in employment matters

15. Duty to act independently in employment matters



(1) A public service body Head is not subject to direction in relation to the
exercise of his or her employer powers referred to in section 20 in respect of
any individual but must act independently.

(2) This section has effect despite sections 13 and 14 but is subject to any
other express provision to the contrary in this Act.
