Corporations and firms

9. Corporations and firms



(1) Where a corporation seeks a licence the corporation shall appoint as
nominee the officer residing in Victoria who is in bona fide control of the
business in Victoria.

(2) Where two or more licence holders carry on or propose to carry on their
business as a private agent in the name of a firm, the partners or proposed
partners shall appoint as nominee a person residing in Victoria who is in bona
fide control of the business in Victoria.

(3) Every application or document required to be furnished by a corporation or
on behalf of a firm pursuant to this Act or any regulation shall be signed on
behalf of the corporation or firm by such nominee, who shall furnish
accurately all information given in respect of that corporation or firm.
