PETROLEUM ACT 1998 - SECT 80
Consultation concerning unit development must take place if part of pool interstate(1) This section applies if section 79 applies, but part of the petroleum pool is outside Victoria (or the Minister reasonably believes that part of the pool is outside Victoria).
(2) The Minister must not make a requirement under section 79 unless she or he has obtained the approval of any authority or body that is responsible for regulating the extraction of petroleum from that pool outside Victoria.
