PETROLEUM ACT 1998 - SECT 222
Minister may remedy failure to comply with improvement notice(1) If the holder of an authority fails to comply with an improvement notice, the Minister may do anything that should have been done by the holder of the authority to comply with the notice.
(2) The costs and expenses incurred by the Minister in doing anything under subsection (1) are a debt due by the person to the State.
