PETROLEUM ACT 1998 - SECT 16

A person must not carry out any petroleum production operation in Victoria except—

        (a)     under, and in accordance with, a production licence; or

        (b)     as otherwise permitted by this Act.

Penalty:     240 penalty units.

Default penalty: 10 penalty units.
