PETROLEUM ACT 1998 - SECT 15

A person must not carry out any petroleum exploration operation in Victoria except—

        (a)     under, and in accordance with, an authority; or

        (b)     as otherwise permitted by this Act.

Penalty:     240 penalty units.

Default penalty: 10 penalty units.
