Regulations

80. Regulations





(1) The Governor in Council may make regulations for or with respect to any
matter or thing required or permitted by this Act to be prescribed or
necessary to be prescribed to give effect to this Act.





(2) In particular, the regulations may make provision for or with respect to-



   (a)  the keeping of records of documents required under this Act in any
        form approved by the Director; and

   (b)  creating penalties for offences not exceeding 5 penalty units; and

   (c)  the fees required to accompany a statement under this Part or the fees
        payable for the inspection of the Register or for the supply of
        certificates of information recorded in the Register.

(3) Regulations made under this section may be disallowed in whole or in part
by resolution of either House of Parliament in accordance with the
requirements of section 6(2) of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1962.

(4) Disallowance under subsection (3) is deemed to be disallowance by
Parliament for the purposes of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1962.
