Registration of limited partnership

55. Registration of limited partnership





(1) If an application for registration of a limited partnership has been made
in accordance with section 54, the Director must register the limited
partnership.

(2) However, the limited partnership must not be registered if the Director is
of the opinion that the firm-name would not be eligible for registration as a
business name under the Business Names Act 1962.

(3) Registration is effected by recording in the Register the particulars in
the statement lodged with the Director.
