Complainant to be informed of result of investigation
24. Complainant to be informed of result of investigation
(1) Where the Ombudsman conducts an investigation or takes any other action on
a complaint made under this Act he shall inform the complainant in such manner
and at such time as he thinks proper of the result of the investigation or
other action, and where the Ombudsman has made any recommendation under
subsection (2) of section 23 and it appears to him that steps which seem to
him to be appropriate have not been taken within a reasonable time of the
making of those recommendations, the Ombudsman shall inform the complainant of
the recommendations, making such comments thereon as he thinks proper.
(2) The Ombudsman may disclose to a complainant any information that the
Ombudsman thinks proper, in addition to any information disclosed under
subsection (1).
