Barmah Forest Grazing Advisory Committee

32F. Barmah Forest Grazing Advisory Committee



(1) There is established a committee to be known as the Barmah Forest Grazing
Advisory Committee.

(2) The Advisory Committee consists of eight members appointed by the Minister
of whom-

   (a)  one is to be appointed by the Minister as the convenor; and

   (b)  three are to be persons nominated by the Barmah Forest Cattlemens
        Association; and

   (c)  one is to be a person nominated by the Yielima Forest Graziers
        Association; and

   (d)  three are to be officers of the Department of Natural Resources and
        Environment.



(3) Subsections (3), (4), (6), (7), (8) and (9) of section 14 apply to the
Advisory Committee.

(4) The Advisory Committee may advise the Minister on any matters relating to
grazing that it considers appropriate.
