Protection of access rights to Murray-Sunset National Park
30D. Protection of access rights to Murray-Sunset National Park
(1) If a person holds a fee simple in land abutting or surrounded by land
described in Part 38 of Schedule Two, the Minister may grant to that person
that reasonable right of access to the person's land which, in the Minister's
opinion, will allow that person to use that land.
(2) If a person carries on or proposes to carry on operations to mine or
explore for gypsum on the land bordered blue in the plan lodged in the Central
Plan Office and numbered N.P. 51/2, the Minister may grant to that person and
the person's employees, contractors and agents that reasonable right of access
to the land bordered blue over the land described in Part 38 of Schedule Two
which, in the Minister's opinion, will allow them to use that land for that
purpose.
(3) For the purpose of allowing a person to have access to land under
subsection (1) or (2), the Minister may exempt the person from any regulation
affecting the land described in Part 38 of Schedule Two or that right of
access.
