9. Indemnity of former members of Council of Chisholm and Gippsland



A person who, immediately before the Appointed Day, was a member of the
Council of a Merging Institute is entitled to be indemnified by Monash in
respect of any personal liability arising out of the bona fide execution of
the duties, powers, authorities and discretions conferred or imposed on him or
her as a member of the Council of the Merging Institute to the same extent and
in the same circumstances as he or she was entitled to be indemnified out of
the assets of the Merging Institute before the Appointed Day.
