20. New section 18 substituted



For section 18 of the Principal Act substitute-



"18. Chairing of meetings
At a meeting of the Council, the Chancellor or, in his or her absence, a
Deputy Chancellor elected by the members present at the meeting shall preside
and, in the absence of the Chancellor and all the Deputy Chancellors, the
members of the Council present at the meeting shall elect a chairman of the
meeting.".
