Definitions

3. Definitions

In this Act- fee includes charge or other amount; penalty means a fine or
other monetary penalty and includes an amount payable under an Act or
statutory rule in respect of an offence for which an infringement notice can
be issued under the Act; penalty unit has the same meaning as in section 110
of the Sentencing Act 1991; statutory rule has the same meaning as in the
Subordinate Legislation Act 1994.
