Saving of proceedings of Council
25. Saving of proceedings of Council
No proceeding of the Council or of any committee thereof shall be invalidated
or rendered illegal by reason only of there being a vacancy in the number of
members of the Council at the time of such proceeding or by reason only of any
number of members of the Council not having been appointed or elected at the
time of such proceeding; and all proceedings of the Council or of any
committee thereof or of any person acting as a member of the Council shall,
notwithstanding that it may afterwards be discovered that there was some
defect in the election or appointment of the members of the Council or of the
committee or of the person acting as aforesaid or that they or any of them
were incapable of being members of the Council or of the committee, be as
valid as if every such person had been duly elected or appointed to the
Council or committee and was capable of being a member.
