16. Election of Chancellor to be by members of Council etc.



(1) The members of the Council shall from time to time as occasion arises
elect or appoint a person, whether a member of the Council or not, to be the
Chancellor of the University for such term and subject to such conditions as
are prescribed by the Statutes.
