Part does not derogate from other rights

28. Part does not derogate from other rights

Nothing in this Part derogates from any rights subsisting in or any remedy
available to any person under any other law or any contract or agreement in
relation to-

   (a)  protected event logos or images; or

   (b)  any other logos or images; or

   (c)  protected event references.

Note Other laws which may give rights or provide remedies include the
Copyright Act 1968, the Trade Marks Act 1995, the Designs Act 2003 and the
Trade Practices Act 1974 of the Commonwealth and the Fair Trading Act 1999.
