MINERAL RESOURCES (SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT) ACT 1990 - SECT 84AQ
Minister may refer a matter for investigation to the Rehabilitation AuthorityS. 84AQ(1) amended by No. 32/2019 s. 22(2)(a).
(1) The Minister, by notice published in the Government Gazette, may refer to the Rehabilitation Authority for investigation a matter that relates to—
S. 84AQ(1)(a) amended by No. 32/2019 s. 22(2)(b).
(a) the rehabilitation of
declared mine land; or
(b) the regional rehabilitation strategy; or
(c) a rehabilitation planning activity.
(2) A notice under subsection (1) must set out—
(a) the terms of reference of the investigation of the matter; and
(b) the reporting requirements that will apply, including when a report is to be given to the Minister and whether or not it is to be published.
