Mineral Resources (Sustainable Development) Act 1990 - SECT 24
Objections to licence
24. Objections to licence
(1) Any person may object to a licence being granted.
(2) A person who objects must-
(a) put the objection in writing; and
(b) include the grounds on which it is made; and
(c) send it to the Minister within 21 days after the latest date on which
the application was advertised.
(3) The Department Head must make sure that a copy of each objection received
by the Minister is available to be inspected at the principal office of the
Department by any person, on request and free of charge, during office hours
until the application is granted or refused.
