Melbourne (Widening of Streets) (Repeal) Act 1986 - SECT 1

Purposes

1. Purposes

The purposes of this Act are-

   (a)  to repeal the Melbourne (Widening of Streets) Act 1940 and the
        Melbourne (Widening of Streets) Act 1943; and

   (b)  to enable the Council of the City of Melbourne to sell acquired land
        to an abutting land owner.
