Short title and commencement

1. Short title and commencement



(1) This Act may be cited as the
Members of Parliament (Register of Interests) Act 1978.

(2) This Act shall come into operation on the day upon which it receives the
Royal Assent.

(3) This Act is divided into Parts as follows:

Part I-Code of Conduct. Part II-Register of Interests. Part III-General.
