Objects of the Authority

5. Objects of the Authority

The objects of the Authority are-

   (a)  to provide a commercially viable wholesale facility for the efficient
        distribution of fresh produce; and

   (b)  to optimise returns on land and assets controlled and managed by the
        Authority; and

   (c)  to ensure a fair and competitive environment for the wholesale trading
        of produce.
