Appointed day

39. Appointed day



(1) For the purposes of this Act, the appointed day is such day as is
proclaimed by the Governor in Council by proclamation published in the
Government Gazette as the appointed day for the purposes of this Act, being a
day not less than three months after the date of publication of the
proclamation.

(2) A day shall not be proclaimed under subsection (1) unless the Finance
Committee established under section 40 has made its recommendations to the
Governor in Council.
