Amendments of sections 5 and 49 of the Principal Act

3. Amendments of sections 5 and 49 of the Principal Act

The Principal Act is hereby amended as follows-

(a) in sub-section (1) of section 5 before the word "commissioners" there
shall be inserted the word "six"; and

(b) in sub-section (3) of section 49 for the words "The number of
commissioners to be elected from time to time and the time and manner of their
election" there shall be substituted the words "The time and manner of the
election of commissioners".
