Abolition of VAMIA

87. Abolition of VAMIA



(1) In this section VAMIA means the Victorian Abattoir and Meat Inspection
Authority.

(2) On the commencement of this section VAMIA is abolished and its members go
out of office.

(3) The Authority is the successor in law of VAMIA.

(4) Without limiting subsection (3) the assets, rights, liabilities and
obligations of VAMIA become assets, rights, liabilities and obligations of the
Authority.
