Melbourne Harbour Trust (Exchange of Lands) Act 1922 - SCHEDULE 4
Land in which the Mount Lyell Company is registered as the proprietor of an
estate in fee simple proposed to be transferred to the Vacuum Oil Company All
that piece or parcel of land containing three acres one rood thirty-six
perches and one-half of a perch or thereabouts, being part of Part 8 of
Section 8, parish of Cut-paw-paw, situate at Yarraville, city of Footscray,
and bounded as follows: Commencing at the intersection of the prolongation of
the southside of Francis-street with the east side of Whitehall-street; thence
east five hundred and eight feet nine inches to a point on the old bank of
River Yarra; thence south-westerly four hundred and forty-six feet and
three-quarters of an inch along the old bank of River Yarra to a point which
bears south two hundred and fifty-nine feet ten inches, and S. 65º 46' E.
three hundred and eighty-three feet one inch from the point of commencement;
thence N. 65º 46' W. three hundred and eighty-three feet one inch, and north
along the south side of Whitehall-street two hundred and fifty-nine feet ten
inches to the point of commencement. _______________
