Absence of involuntary patient with permission

41. Absence of involuntary patient with permission

The authorized psychiatrist may allow an involuntary patient to be absent from
the approved mental health service for the purpose of receiving medical
treatment-

   (a)  for the period; and

   (b)  subject to any conditions-

that the authorized psychiatrist considers appropriate.
