Treatment for security patients

16B. Treatment for security patients



(1) A security patient is to be given treatment for his or her mental illness.

(2) If a security patient refuses to consent to necessary treatment or is not
capable of consenting to treatment for his or her mental illness consent in
writing may be given by the authorised psychiatrist.
