Treatment for involuntary patients

12AD. Treatment for involuntary patients



(1) An involuntary patient is to be given treatment for his or her mental
illness.

(2) If an involuntary patient refuses to consent to necessary treatment or is
unable to consent to treatment for his or her mental illness, consent in
writing may be given by the authorised psychiatrist.
