Evidence of ownership or occupancy

76A. Evidence of ownership or occupancy

In any proceedings under this Act or the regulations, the following is
evidence that a person is the owner or occupier of land-

   (a)  evidence that the person is liable to be rated in respect of the land;

   (b)  evidence by the certificate of the Registrar of Titles or an Assistant
        Registrar of Titles authenticated by the seal of the Office of Titles
        that the person is the registered proprietor of an estate in
        fee-simple or of a leasehold estate held of the Crown in the land;

   (c)  evidence by the certificate of the Registrar-General or a Deputy
        Registrar-General authenticated by the seal of the Registrar-General
        that the person appears from the memorial of any deed, conveyance or
        instrument to be the last registered owner of the land.
