Damage done to be within policy

54. Damage done to be within policy

Any damage to property caused by the Chief Officer or by any member of any
unit or by any unit in the lawful execution of any power conferred by this Act
is deemed to be damage by fire within the meaning of any policy of insurance
against fire covering the property so damaged despite any clause or condition
to the contrary in that policy.
