46. Borrowing by Board1



(1) The Board may obtain financial accommodation subject to and in accordance
with the Borrowing and Investment Powers Act 1987.

(2) The payment of amounts payable as a result of or in connection with
financial accommodation obtained by the Board (including the expenses of
enforcement) are secured as a first charge on the property and revenue of the
Board.

(3) The amounts secured under subsection (2) include amounts (and interest)
borrowed by the Board before the commencement of section 17 of the Borrowing
and Investment Powers (Amendment) Act 1993.
