Disclosure of information by Board

45A. Disclosure of information by Board



(1) The Board may disclose to the Secretary to the Department of Justice, the
Secretary to the Department of Treasury and Finance or the Emergency Services
Commissioner or otherwise publish in any manner the Board thinks fit any
information obtained by the Board under section 38, 40, 41, 42, 44A or 45.

(2) The Secretary to the Department of Justice, the Secretary to the
Department of Treasury and Finance or the Emergency Services Commissioner may
publish in any manner the Secretary or Commissioner thinks fit any information
disclosed to the Secretary or Commissioner by the Board under subsection (1).

(3) Nothing in subsection (1) or (2) permits the disclosure or publication of
information that could lead to the identification of an individual.

(4) The Board may disclose to a member of the police force any information
obtained by the Board under section 38, 40, 41, 42, 44A or 45 if the Board is
satisfied that the disclosure is reasonably necessary for the purpose of the
investigation of an offence against this Act or any other Act or law.
