Acting Chief Executive Officer

29. Acting Chief Executive Officer



(1) The Board must appoint a person to be the Acting Chief Executive Officer
of the Board-

   (a)  while the office of Chief Executive Officer is vacant; or

   (b)  during any period when the Chief Executive Officer is unable, by
        reason of illness or absence, to perform the functions of that office.

(2) The Acting Chief Executive Officer has all the powers and functions and
may perform the duties of the Chief Executive Officer while he or she is
acting, including any power, function or duty as Chief Officer.
